The PSIpenta Shipping module allows flexible illustration of a wide range of processes, from the simplest consignment to complex shipping plans, even for customer-specific products and made-to-order parts.
In PSIpenta Shipping, delivery data is generated on the basis of customer transactions. This enables the data in the customer order and the subsequent shipping data to be compared. The following shipping procedures are integrated in PSIpenta:
In addition to the complex methods for controlling and processing shipping, there are also simple ways of generating deliveries and the corresponding documents without commissions, shipping components, shipments or cargoes. The two shipping methods can also be used concurrently. For complex machines or plants, the creation of shipments and cargos is used to support assembly schedules and an appropriate sequence is formed accordingly. On the other hand, comparatively simple spare part deliveries can be processed quickly with simple postings.
PSIpenta Preference Calculation is used to record vendor declarations and produce declarations of origin on the basis of completed preference calculations generated from assessed bills of materials for standard items. The vendor declarations apply to a certain preference zone and are valid for a limited period of time. The preference calculation itself is based on the set of rules for the harmonised system (HS) and is performed for each available preference zone. The specific rules for each preference zone can be configured and updated as required. A validity period is applied to the preference rules. The result of preferential costing is used to determine preferential treatment for the sale of standard items. The preferential price limit is transferred to the line depending on the delivery address preference zone. If the sales price (ex-works end price including surcharges and discounts) is higher than the preferential price limit, the code "entitled to preferential treatment" is set and shown in delivery slips and sales invoices.
